Granny's gone and done it again

Bubba has this weird oral fixation. He's CONSTANTLY got something in his mouth, or his fingers, and he's always licking handrails or doorknobs. If there's a germ out there in the world, he's going to catch it.

My oldest daughter & my gd both were very oral kids. Everything was in their mouths. Gd had a rash that was like a wart on her face & hands for quite some time. It is caused by a virus & is transmitted by touching surfaces & then touching your face. She is 15 & still chews on everything lol.

camp I was much the same way when growing up other then door knows and hand rails. And thank God have been pretty healthy my adult life.

eventually he should build up one heck of an immune system.

Yeah! He got an early start by eating his own poop TWICE (that I know about) as an infant, his first summer at camp he was only 3mos old and got handled way more than I knew about, and had strep the first time when he was 6mos old. He's been to the ER three times for a 104 fever as a baby.

He doesn't do anything halfway. :/

DH is the same, always chewing plastic bottle caps or toothpicks or straws. I used to bite my fingernails but stopped when I was 10 or so. Of course I don't have any weird vices.
