Happy Birthday Papa, hope you've had a good one. Very sweet of you to work at the shelter serving others. I have done my good deed for the day too.
This is what is left of my hair. It is to be donated to the American Cancer Society because they provide wigs at no charge to cancer patients. Other orginizations charge the patient. It will make it much easier to manage after breaking my wrist. I did the same thing 4 years ago when I fell & broke the right wrist. Showed granny a picture of my hair cut, she thought I was drunk in the picture, lol. Told you all that I don't take good pictures haha.

Thank you all for the kind words. It's been a rough day, having lots of pain. Taking motrin & tylenol has barely knocked the edge off. Icing & elavating has not helped with the throbbing. So sad that our world has come down to not treating individuals for pain. I try not to take anything I don't have to, but it sure would be nice to have the option when needed. Granny was mad, she wanted me to give her my doctors phone number lol

It does make it way easier. It's buzzed up the back with the longest comb setting. Cut above my ears with top & sides real short. A little gel & I'm good to go.

I can't use the wrist at all so having it cut short is the only way to deal with it. I prefer my hair short, but hubs likes it longer so I've kept it longer.
