the lings MIGHT be in, in the am I am not holding out much hope for any being alive which just has my "knickers" in a HUGE knot.

Take pictures, have them enlarged, and send them out to everyone that ships chicks and ducklings so they can paste on the outside of the box and maybe they will take a little better care of what is inside. Doesn't it cost a bit extra to ship live critters than regular packages? I would think that means a little special attentions and TLC. They should do better or have special instructions for birds in transit longer than 3 days. Fowl first aid procedures or something! Poor little critters.
