Poor chick. How does the rooster get at it? Are they all in the same pen?

Same pen separated by fence, was getting fresh water I had forgot my acv that happened while I rode to the house and back but it was over by the time I got back , they been around them since they got here and never bothered them

I wiped the kids butts last night in battleship. @Wishing4Wings DD brought over your sac of games . Blue drawstring bag ? I dont know whats in there yet.

I think that's a challenge/puzzle/maze game. They will have to think a bit, but fun.

Poor little thing. I have seen worse on here survive and heal up. Are you keeping her separate? Other chickens might go all cannibal and finish her off.
Rooster is a bad boy. Does he have any hens with him?

I have been raking and cleaning the bantam coop and run. Seramas got fresh rice hulls in the coop. They were going to town scratching through that to find left over rice. Happy chickens! They weren't so happy when I was cleaning it!
Darn hawk has taken to camping out in the big pine behind the bantam coop. PITA. Need the crows to come back and chase it off, but they are AWOL. Meanwhile they have to stay locked up, so I felt guilty that they were living in squalor!

It's been a lot of years since I fooled with it, but .15 joules sounds a bit low.

It is low impedance and has pulses to prevent hurting your own animals. But it still made the Shepherd yell, and it takes quite a bit to make her do that.

I got it with the 5 it come with, they been huddled around it protecting it all day . I've seen worse in my older flocks I sprayed new skin on its head and neck . I had it in a pet carrier by itself but it cried the whole time and the other 5 was right against the door crying back

Vertricyn is my go to spray for most any wound.

I bought a solar light for my coop today and a set of waterers i can hook up to the rain barrel. Now if we ever have rain...

nu-skin burns. It can seal in infection too. Its probably a roo. Thats what older roos do. Rid themselves of the competition while they can.
Made Robert a cake today . all the boys were in heaven. LOL
