Has everyone left the scene. Finally got grandkids sent back home after 2 1/2 days. @willzpapa I applaud you for being in your 50's & STILL sane with a 4 year old child everyday. My grandkids are 15, almost 4 & 2. The youngest are boys & a mile wide. The 4 yr old screams like a girl & the 2 yr old is like Thomas the tank engine & plows through everything in his path. I picture him playing football when he is older. I always hope to catch them on video when they are here, but they require hands on deck at all times, lol. It's pretty bad when the screaming outside puts me over the edge. God blessed me with the love for children, just not the patience. I was bad enough raising my 2 & my grandaughter, but these boys are gonna be the death of me. They dont listen to anything you say, sure liked it better when spanking wasn't frowned upon. I'm afraid they both would have gotten a few this weekend @granny hatchet I have no idea on how you have a brain cell left. I would be sitting in a puddle of drool if I had 5 grandkids living with me. My house is still trashed, but I don't give a chit. The house is quiet except for the sound of the AC running. Speeking of AC, wouldn't you know it that we would get some wacked out weather while kids were here with temps in the 90's & humid as all get out. These kids absolutely love being outside, which is great except in those temps I don't want to be outside in the direct sun pushing them on their swings, but I did. Have spent Friday & today mostly outside with them. I am a hot mess, glad hubby is gone for a few hours so I can do absolutely NOTHING, Haha

Lisa, I can feel for you. I am also exhausted after taking care of my GKs. 2.5 days is a ong time. Mine don't sleep well at my house, so I don't get much sleep and neither do they. We all get pretty grouchy. But mine are girls, I haven't watched the baby yet.
