I am being overrun by mice & voles. Can't even keep a hanging feeder in the layer coop. In a couple day times it is full of chit. Plus all you smell is rodent pizzz

Our dogs growing up loved to hunt and play with their bodies. Then they’d bring them to us and get a treat lol

I hope what I did today gives them a taste for them.

Mine have caught them, but most the time they won't eat them. Which is fine by me. Long as the darn things are dead, that's all it matters.

I went and bought me a pellet gun with a scope last weekend. Me and my husky hang out by the coop and he alerts me when one is in the backyard. Then the fun begins!!!

That was a really big deal for me to touch them today without running screaming

I raised 4 mice from that stage. So helpless. I think they are pretty little creatures, but hordes of them running in my coop would be very unpleasant.

Are you done hatching for the year? I'm getting a few blue and green right now. I've been thinking of calling the NPIP to get certified again.

I'm saving eggs for incubation. Will start it Saturday if I have enough eggs.
