Did anyone else ever do pizza on bread as a kid? Like bread, sauce, pepperoni and cheese toss in the toaster oven and voila?

So, I think I am about to walk into a scam. I cant find the post on FB. Guy says, he has decided he will pick one house a yr to roof for free. The requirement is no insurance, must be needy, worthy.. Told him I didnt qualify , I have insurance and I only need a small repair. He is offering to go through my insurance, pay the deductible himself .....Something popped up while he was writing asking for $776. and he says he has no idea why that came up. I didnt answer him. Insurance scam ?
