Going to have to cull a ling. This little one's leg is broken. It's turned almost backwards, and very purple/swollen. There's a little blood up on the thigh.

Send the darlin' to me. Where's it broken? I haven't had luck with fractures in the thigh, too hard to splint.

Hope it heals for you Papa. That d@MN diabetes is scary stuff. Watched my dad lose a big toe. Then just before he died the infection came back. They were going to remove his foot. I'm so glad he passed before that happened.

Yeah pop lost his leg over a blister on his toe, I took him to the dr on Friday they removed his first three toes and part of the foot on Monday . The stuck him in a hyperbaric chamber, trying to push blood into the foot and leg. But the damage was already done. Took it off below the knee. He was so weak after that he was never able to walk without a walker. He never mastered his prosthesis.

I'll take pics tomorrow. I can't see or feel the break, which is why I just want to cull. Leg is badly twisted and I don't think I could properly fix it.
