My red wyandotte has been in a nest half the day. Never seen her go broody.

The chick feed and flock feed are about $13 each.

Fluttershy hatched her baby, but she won't take care of it. I found it wedged under the fence, rescued it, and put it under her. 20 mins later she had pushed it 2ft away again. So now I have a bathroom duck, just like nature intended. Fingers crossed for the sweet little ling. It's still got a little bit of yolk, not nearly to worst I've ever seen. Hoping getting warm will help a bit.

I had decided to splint little Webby and hope for the best, but when I went for her she was no longer. Too bad, because she really had seemed to be doing ok.

I think so. It won't uncurl from egg position, and won't open its eyes. I'm hoping it's not something neurological and it just needs to warm up and rest.

It can extend both legs, flap both wings, and scoot around. It got too hot while I was holding it and extended its neck and stretched out. Eyes and squeezed tight shut. When I open both lids there are eyes that look clear, and the third lid blinks.

Of course maybe mama knew something was wrong and that's why she kicked it out in the first place.

No, that's snowflake. Fluttershy kept losing her eggs to snakes. This is her first hatched baby.

I need a nerve pill badly. Dog puking from kids feeding their food to him. I just fixed another fence section he is escaping from. Kids just now finished clothes. One is fevered. the rest went out to play football.

Oops hubs did it again....first of three this weekend....there's another same year but sedan we have to go grab...and tomorrow we get to grab a really hot mess 1970 144.

I'm trying to con him into lifting the wagon and letting me have that as a desert toy. No turbo no care. Not like I'd be too crazy on it.
