Granny's gone and done it again

I need hay for the bunnies too. Last bale i bought was all dusty and nasty.
The contractor marked off where the goat shed will go and put stakes in the ground! It gives me hope it may get started some day. He is still working on the deck. He needs to install snow rails, soffits and gutters. And finish the electrical work in the garage and work shop. Got my plywood today so i can start building the cat scratching tower.

Lol y'all make me feel so backwoods with your contractors and whatnots. Meanwhile I'm going to build feed storage with boards I found on the ground and tin I found in the woods. :lau
We only have a guy doing this work because DH has a really bad back. He and i know how to build but at our age we save our energy for other projects. Right now he is cutting wood for the winter. Why that does not kill his back, i have no idea. I am still trying to finish up this run and i have to put siding on 2 sides of the coop.

I got two free pieces of OSB board today at Lowes. Not whole sheets, just pieces. They cut them off at the saw when customers want a sheet cut to a certain size and sit the left overs behind the saw area. They give them to you free if you ask. I also get free boards they call skids, which are around 3 feet long . I usually get a cartload when they have them. I use them for doors on the bunny cages, and the pop door for the chicken coop. I love mistint paint and often get gallons of paint for between $9-12. each. If you can find a free trampoline, you can make a chicken run out of that, or even a swing set. We used one of those round metal hay feeders for a run once .
