Sounds super nice! And probably hold up better and cheaper than the store ones.

I will post pics when i build it. I saved extra carpet from when we had new installed in the master bedroom in FL. I hope that is enough but i can get more if i need it. So far i have a $17. sheet of plywood and 4 2x3s which should do it because i have lots of scraps.
