what I do with broody/ornery hens is put my baseball cap (usually wearing) over their heads then safe from the beaks.

Put the Rouens in with the scovy. They immediately cuddled in on her and she's panicked! Poor ling. But they all look pretty similar, so should be a good transition. Flit will figure it out.

yard and blvds to mow, pick the rest of the maters, and maybe apples, roll up all the soaker hoses and regular ones in the back yard, put all the veggie cages away. Hang some curtains in an apartment and check out a "wonky" light , maybe grocery shopping, wash and sort eggs.

I have a GQQD recipe for green tomato and apple Mincemeat. But I don't go thru it real fast.
