Canned 30 qrts of tomatoes & 15 pints of applesauce yesterday & evening. Kiddos came at 8:00 pm. They were cranking, so hyper. I swear they had caffeine or something. It was after 11:00 when I got the 2 yr old down & the almost 4 yr old didn't crash until 1:15 a.m. Up early this morning, running and playing all day & bath this evening. And wouldnt you know it I fought getting them to sleep again. They finally crashed at 10:45 tonight. I was about ready to have a cow by the time they crashed.

I thought caffine was suppose to make small/young children sleepy ??

cant leave kids with kids. Guess Im stuck. LOL Was really hoping they would be doing home visits by now and instead they have the whole week off for fall break !

They never had a lick of caffeine or anything of that nature. I swear there's a full moon a coming or time change is getting close. The oldest was slap happy drunk last night. Couldn't get him to quite laughing. And little brother is repeat of brother. They were both so silly & giggling, but I was just too pooped out from being on my feet for so many hours canning. Was a pretty hot mess to boot. The only time I get to be "Hot" and wouldnt you know I'm a mess
