My wife is healing well, thanks for asking. It’s raining like a cow peein on a flat rock. My rain gauge shows 5 inches since last night. My back is still giving me a fit . Lauren turns 4 in November and she may have a solid black kitty . Did I mention I’m allergic???

Glad to hear that she is doing better, but not happy to hear your still having back trouble. Papa, please don't get little bit a kitty for her birthday. With you being allergic & all ready on oxygen that would be bad. I know you love her to death, but please don't make yourself more miserable. Kids need yes & no's to be balanced. She will be ok with another gift. Just MHO, do not mean to offend.

No, thank goodness. We are expecting temps in the low 90s for today and tomorrow, but no wind advisories for us. They are very close to getting the fires contained up here, and high winds could put us back to the beginning. Santa Ana winds are in southern CA and blow out of the deserts of the US and Mexico. The winds that caused our big fires are called Diablo winds... they blow out the the dry, hot central valley of CA, and are not as common as the Santa Anas.
Sure hope you don't have floods!


CA is about 770 miles long. I am up by the 4. San Diego is down at the very bottom, 11, so I am over 500 miles north of the new danger zones.

Prostar is down in the far south and under red flag warnings. I sure hope fires don't start for her!


It's not close. This is a BIG state. 547.9 miles from here to San Diego. You could squeeze 2 Indiana states in between.

So glad to hear this wishing. I knew you lived somewhere near a San lol. Praying that star & H2o are not near fire dangers.

Yeah, he was using his electric one so once his finger came off the trigger the saw stopped. Not sure it is ok, more concerned about him. I can buy a new saw.

So sorry to hear that your hubby fell out of a tree wit a chainsaw. Thank God the saw shuts off as soon as you remove your finger, but hope he didn't mess up his bad back.

Nope. It was awful. I had a dr appt and she was mean, horrible, nasty. I barely made it out with my composure, then sobbed in the parking lot for half an hour.

I am so sorry Camping Doctors like that should not be allowed to have a license to practice medicine. I can only image what she bee-otched about. What happened to being positive & supporting someone who is trying to make healthy choices. I think your doing wonderful if that helps at all.
