I doubt it. He is not a smoker. He probably won't even take the pain pills.

cap, if he knows that wrapping the ribs causes shallow breathing couldnt he compensate and maybe wrap in the daytime ? Does he have a cpap ? I know it helps the pain to be wrapped

No cpap for him, he is slim. He has a back brace he puts on sometimes. The doctor told him to hug a pillow and do deep breathing exercises. I just hope he has enough sense to rest.
