:weehere too!

Hey everyone! Just wondering if you could help me out on a problem. I have mites! Well, not exactly me, but my chickens.

I only have two at the moment *sob* and I found my rooster really pale (and being slightly slow), I brought him inside, thinking he was cold when I saw he had them. I gave him some iron rich foods (a slew I mad of Strawberries, cornmeal, a tad bit of molasses, and a about half a capsule of iron). I don't have any dusts or medications for them, so I need to know what I need to get. The only place I can put them for time being would be my bathroom.

Any help would be wonderful!
It really depends on what type of mites they are. Don't bring your chickens inside if they are red roost mites! They will crawl off the birds and lay eggs all over your house. Northern fowl mites are grey and will have big clusters of eggs on the lower part of the feather shaft around the tail. Ivermectin works well against both types, but you will need further treatment of the coop if red roost mites are the problem.
I am running out of pantyhose/nylons, :barnie:hit More then willing to accept ones with "ladders" aka "runs" should any one have any of that type. Clean , dirty don't matter.
umm, well, what do you want them for? Do they even sell nylons ant more?

well ! called sister, she said give him mineral oil
That almost sound too good to be true!

Depends on my mood :D;)

Not really they actually have a myriad of uses. My main one is to store onions in. Drop one in move it to the toe tie a knot and repeat until your out of nylon. Then hang on a nail in a cool, dry , dark place will keep all winter. Then depending on home many you need just cut off BELOW the knot and use or grab a whole leg and bring it up.

Had a hard day dealing with side effects of new drugs. Not able to concentrate, or get much of anything done. Stripped off the tarps, moved the roof so there is now an overhang over the door. Painted the door, looks much better. Tried putting tarps back up with bungies, got about half done.
Put some perches up, and a waterer. Very soon those guineas are going to get kidnapped and stuffed in the new coop.

SHOOT twist I just got rid of a bunch of runnered ones. Sorry :(
:barnie:hit would you be so kind as to save them for me. Looks funny when I go to the store and buy cheap ones. Although the last time I asked the store clerk if she thought they were my size and right color :lau
