I am talking about meal worms. The bott fly does bite, then it burrows into your flesh eewwwww........![]()
thats odd
hi Melon, I hope they are gone quickly. I think you retreat in 10 days ??
Hi Melon, sorry you've got bugsNot sure on that part, might retreat in a week, just depends how well this initial spray down worked. Not intending on eating them (or the 1 egg a week I am getting), so thats not a problem.
I have some already, just wasnt sure if they are old enough for it or even needed for meal worms which BTW I just figured out is maggots.
LOL one egg. sounds like mineNot sure on that part, might retreat in a week, just depends how well this initial spray down worked. Not intending on eating them (or the 1 egg a week I am getting), so thats not a problem.
Go check their roost with a flashlight. Red roost mites are active at night and crawl out of hiding to feed on the birds at night. You will see them dying wherever you sprayed and walking where you missed. If it's them, keep spraying!Pretty sure they are Northern Fowl mites, they are black and grey so I made that assumption. Just got the stuff that Banty recommended, that Gordon's 10% spray. I made a 1/200 ratio like the instructions said and sprayed the area down as well as a little on the birds. Leaving them outside for tonight, probably going to move them in in the morning.
Don't know if I should use ivermectin, I have tons of the horse stuff, but it is all expired![]()
