Granny's gone and done it again

The guineas are finally in their coop!

I fixed the door on the guinea coop and hung it again. Caught those crazy guineas and made 6 trips down to the coop to deposit them. Installed the solar light in the guinea coop. Dragged the hose over toward the chicken coop. I need to clean that coop and put fresh shavings in, then lots of leaves in the run. And i will be installing 2 more vents in the coop. If i have time before dark, i have some blackberry canes to plant.
Hope you all have a great day!

Finally caught up - I only skipped 600 posts. Dh been home since Thursday night so I haven't had much reading time. Beef roast with veggies In crock pot cooked all night. Dh bought new storage building cause roof on ours is leaking again. Im gonna have it moved to side yard & put a new metal roof & door on it. Making me an outdoor kitchen in one end for processing veggies & eggs & storage for feeds in the other end

I moved the chick brooder out to one of the chicken pens. I couldn't keep it cleaned enough to stop the smell. I was cleaning it once a day. Glad I moved it cause one flew out today when I was cleaning it. They are 3 weeks now.

Skipped ALL THE POSTS.

Hubs is mad at me. He and my Sibling are off off-roading as we speak. I didn’t go since it’s torture now to bring her off-roading. (And locking her in our way too hot camper wouldn’t be Torture?!?!) oh but she doesn’t enjoy it. (Edit for clairity since somehow a whole schwak went missing where I say this is about my puppers - it’s torture to bring my puppers off-roading.)

She does alright off-roading. If it gets too gnarly, she and I get out and walk. I think he was just more worried cause Sibling has been getting shotgun everywhere which would negate the peach spot (she’s on the floor between my legs in the shotgun seat usually)

So he’s angry. I’m angry he thought leaving peach in the trailer this hot would be a good idea. So we’re hanging out in the shade.

Headed to the wedding! The man came from Texas to get the chicks and hen. $20 for a hen and 10 chicks! :yesss: I kept four, of course the one granny liked. ;)

He was a nice man, very quiet. He kept saying "what's that hen next to the fence?" I had to tell him twice or three times it was a roo, and then I gave it to him. :D It was that very nice EE roo that I didn't want to eat. I said he could eat it, just not tell me.

I didn't have time to clean the bator and didn't grab the eggs yet. Hoping I can put a hen on them tonight. :fl
