I really love angoras and Californian rabbits. But I would want something with color variety

I like Californias too. Too much brushing with angoras! That is why i like Lionheads. Fluffy, but not so much brushing.

But they are so small! I like Netherland Dwarfs too. I’m so use to bigger rabbits 10-15lbs. Besides I had lops and they made me give up on fancy breeds. Terrible mothers!

Can you show us pictures of your show chickens?

I can probably get some tomorrow. Don't think any of them are that good, I just went to find some breeders (scandalous, I know). The ones I took are kept at a friend's farm because she lost her flock to some unknown predator and really wanted chickens. I told her she can keep them, as long as I can take them to shows.

Is it chickens or rabbits she was showing ?

Chickens. I KNOW how to show rabbits, i just don't. My rabbits are all rescues and all my males a fixed, so they don't win anything.

What kind of Lops did you have? ND are pretty! I want some of those too!

They were either mini or Holland lops I can’t remember lol I had 3 (2 does, a black and a broken black and white, and 1 gorgeous buck, he was black brown and white) he was such a sweetie but the does were night and day. And terrible moms. Had 3 litters before I gave up. The one had the babies and let them freeze. And the other ate them. Well the back half... I almost strangled her I was so mad!

My friend raises Mini Lops and i am trying Hollands. I had a rabbit have babies on the wire before, they were all dead when i found them. Sad. Most of the rabbits i had in TN were good Mamas.

Who are the people eating eating your food? Your mom and dad?

Probably my dad and brother. My food that I had planned to take to work for lunch is what disappeared. 3 times in one week I didn’t have a lunch from them.


I don’t buy much because I plan what I’ll eat a week. I hate waste. The only thing they won’t eat is salad lol
