Not as bad this time of year. Can’t imagine what would go after a week old banty chick and leave everything else.

Fighting a headache. This weekend has me whipped! Couldn’t drag myself to the coop before dark. Just finished locking up. Two of the six ducklings made it in the coop! Three of the four littles are missing.

Oh no. Hope they show up in the morning.

Thanks I am still watching those dopey movies. Cut hubs' hair too. And I haven't cleaned up from dinner. Dang torture chamber.

well I dozed off again and then got all excited because the clock read 11 pm (type with actual hands) so I go and start getting everything ready to lock up. NOPE only 10 pm I had forgotten to turn that first clock back an hour.

I think the phone has rang twice all day so I am chucking in the towel and locking up early and going to bed.
