Granny's gone and done it again

curtains are up. Never had such a hard time in my life hanging them. The longest curtain rod you can find is 120 in. My 4 windows w/ a small 3 in. gap between them is about 125in. So dowel rod between the middle of the wooden rod w/ ?? Headless ?? screws to hold. Except those are wore out and 3 hrs. (felt like) of very good ideas on how to fix it and failing Tom brought me the duct tape. Worked, hid, curtains are up. I hate them.
The traverse rod that Rod installed for me. Missing one hook for the drapes. Finally found one and went up the step stool to hang and after all this painting up and down my knee waited for the very last to hurt me. Good thing Robert was standing there and helped me and finished the drapes. He didnt need a step stool. He is a tall cool drink of water that boy. All I have planned is done . Now what do I put/do with the room ? LOL

Well for starters a pic or three to share with us would be nice.

So you hate them? You should see my curtains... huge solid panel to cover the sliding door... ecru/tan color with brown slubby bits... plastic/rubberish backing for better insulation. Yucky, but it was what they had at the time. Lately, they got so dirty, I decided to wash them. The stupid backing kind of melted and stuck together, and when I tried to straighten it and pull it apart, the backing all pulled off the fabric. :he Now my ugly curtains have blobby light spots showing through where the backing is missing. Ugly has become butt ugly. But they are clean!!!

uffda wish that you had mention the type of curtains you had. I wash the motel ones basically the same type. Do on gentle cycle with woolite, gentle spin cycle and then air dry.
