Waaaay to strong for me and trigger headaches, even BEFORE I register the smell. One of the early trips hubs and I took to Maui and we stayed with his brother and SIL. She very nicely put a gardenia in a bowl of water in our room. I had to move it, but the smell stayed.
You would love plumeria blossoms. Beautiful colors and lovely smell... sort of fruity flowery... no headaches. They make leis (flower necklaces) from the flowers.

OMG not plumeria please any other scent then that.

uffda wish that you had mention the type of curtains you had. I wash the motel ones basically the same type. Do on gently cycle with woolite, gentle spin cycle and then air dry.
