Guess they don't have anything better to do with all the snow you get! I don't get many eggs over the winter, but I have mostly older hens now.


Uh oh. Older kid stayed home from work today... sore throat, swollen glands, temp up and down... generally feeling crappy.


Is Thanksgiving REALLY next week?

unfortunately yes. I got an 18 lb turkey for 8 bucks best deal I managed to find today.

So the soonest that the Vet can see Martinika is the first part of December. NOT sure if I should still grab a shot of pencillin or not then.

So the 3 idiots at the farm evidently can't read or properly harvest a deer. Tag is to go in the ear of the doe and head to remain attached until butchering, NOPE skin the animal asap so it cools down quickly NOPE and a few other choice stupidities I mean seriously instruction are on the actual tag complete with pictures.

Just finished too everyone was out of food. And needed water. 2/4 still had some water. Another packed mud and crumbles in the ring The bantams actually knocked the waterer over in the coop. Bone dry.

Poor BR and lorps. Look like they lost a fight! On the bright side they all went in the coop
