ohh Yes, I have seen that in her. What a relief to know its not something terrible. I mean, Im sure it is for you but not life threatening . Ha, Did you read Twist and myself talking about that very thing this am ?They're called eccential(sp) tremors. Looks like Parkinsons but it's not. Tremors doesn't tend to shorten your life. If you ever watched On Golden Pond wit Kathryn Hepburn you would have noticed it in her with the shaky voice and all.
Who is being surprised?Over 200 posts behind. Bought 2 cattle panels, tarps,& rope to winterize the dog kennel. Moved 4 week chicks to wire cage with light & boxes, hay bales around it to keep out the wind & plywood top. Got brooder cleaned & ready for surprise chicks on Wednesday.

week from today and I missed you too ?
I bet if you quit cooking, those two would find a way not to starve!I should just go to bed. Wish someone else in this house would cook or hell, even make a sandwich.
Ask the vet! Could you tell how deep the abscess was? They will usually wall off the infection from the rest of the body, so you just need to keep it open and draining. If it has formed a pocket, it will probably heal on it's own, as long as it can drain. Hot compresses on the outside help keep it open and draw out the gunk. You can also syringe out the pocket with some saline or mild antiseptic. BUT, if it hasn't formed a pocket, you should give antibiotics and keep draining. Don't syringe in an unformed pocket... that will spread the infection. So the soonest that the Vet can see Martinika is the first part of December. NOT sure if I should still grab a shot of pencillin or not then.
Did they ruin the meat? Hopefully not a waste. So the 3 idiots at the farm evidently can't read or properly harvest a deer. Tag is to go in the ear of the doe and head to remain attached until butchering, NOPE skin the animal asap so it cools down quickly NOPE and a few other choice stupidities I mean seriously instruction are on the actual tag complete with pictures.

To whoever asked, fish and game types want the rules followed so they can properly manage the game populations. You break the rules, you can get your tags pulled, fines, hunting ban and, depending on the severity of the infraction, jail time. Here is N. California, poaching abalone is a huge deal and I have seen people arrested for breaking the rules (having a trunk full of abalones). If the rules weren't enforced, there would be NO abalone here, because they would wear scuba gear and pick it clean in one season. Law says you can only harvest them free diving (no tanks) and if they are big enough.
