No one here would think it odd or funny you took your chicken to the vet. Its expected almost. She didnt "catch" anything so probably was a peck

Well, some sort of sinus infection, maybe started with her having a virus, but the antibiotics are working. Her eye is not bulging out of her head anymore.

Yes, i was so happy and told everyone! The next pregnancy i didn't tell anyone but husband until 5 months.

So sad. You get all excited, and then it's gone. The only little comfort is ones that don't survive maybe had some sort of problem that caused it. It's hard no matter what.

I waited until 3 months along to tell with the first one. Was worried since I was a bit older than is good. Can't remember on the second. Too old by then... memory shot!

I've heard that too. I was just talking to #1 about that sort of thing today... the statistical chances that you are even here are astronomical... the exact combination of genes, that nothing went wrong with the pregnancy... Told him the chances of you being you are like winning a lottery. You can't waste it. You being here with your specific genetic makeup means you won the biggest lottery ever! One month later and you could have been a girl and I never would have known you. You are unique in the whole world and that makes you special. Pam, I think I got through to him.
