Babies are growing up. I *think* 3 cockerels and 2 pullets. I moved them back into the little red coop the other day. I’m hoping that I can open the door more in a few days. Everyone is nosey. AND Easter is molting :barnie she’s only 7 months!

Mine are all moulting , even the guineas! And the chickens just hatched in August!

I just ate way too much . Leftovers for breakfast. Sit right here and kept eating knowing I was full 5 mins ago. Now Im sick. Why? It wasnt that good. Tom is losing his appetite . His words are getting worse too. I am worried about him. We have been together every day for a quarter of a century. I suspect I will go crazy when he passes.
Yes, it will be very hard when he passes. Besides losing a child or sibling prob the hardest thing to go through. We will be here for you.

SO according to the "turkey experts" you should figure 1 pound of bird per person evidently NONE of my guests have read that. Started with about a 20 lb bird total left overs 1 thigh and 1/2 of the breast, plus a little bit of "pickings" off the bones.

And I only feed 8 people and 3 of those it was their second Thanksgiving dinner
Wow, you got some big eaters.

seramas are moved into a much bigger cage in the serama coop so they can get used to their mamas before being released. I have a box in the cage and thats where I put shavings and a heat lamp. They can get warm there or the other end is by a closed window. Its 3x6 x3ft tall and 2 story so much better then where they were. Polish littles had poop stuck and I ripped it off along with some butt fuzz so theres nothing there for it to stick to. I also offered grit and left the cardboard front off . I will give them a couple days to get some grit in their craw then offer mealworms to start with. The FTT is acting better. Meds helped . its still weak looking in the eyes but body is starting to fill out or maybe wishful thinking on my part. Back to plain water now.

Glad they are doing good!
