I don't think there is a safe/sure-fire way other then electricI have been watching videos on keeping water thawed without electric. I got excited over the salt/water bottle but seems it dont work.

so your wrists can last 20 min.??or at least flexible , NOT so bad once everything melts then just 20 minutes or more of constant stirring until done.
