Granny's gone and done it again

I went to Lawrenceburg today and on the way home traffic was flying on 129 . 2 boys looked to be 10-12 yrs. were walking and playing with a basketball. Well, the ball rolled out of his hands and into traffic and out one of them went after it. My lane was slow but the next one wasnt and he had to jump to keep from getting hit. I stopped in the road and yelled at them. Told them to keep their hands on the ball til they got off the road. Scared the crap out of me. The thing is, car behind me got pissed because I was stopped and blowing its horn at me. I dont care, My sister was killed on the road and Im glad I stopped and yelled at them. Please warn your kids , traffic is heavy now because of the holiday and people are multi tasking trying to get things ready. Please stay safe and dont worry about the guy behind you you delayed for a whole 15 seconds .

I know what you mean. We’ve had little kids not even school age run out into the road! Makes me super nervous!

I mentioned a cell to Tom for Robert. It would be an ongoing charge though.

doesn’t have to be a super fancy phone. Could get a cheap prepaid one to be able to get ahold of him.

that last worker scared me. If he had a phone he could of called me to come get him. He is meeting a new worker thursday

Aw, it looks great! Very festive without much effort. I love how your deer are helping hold it up. And that CAT! 3 dogs are on the carpet and one cat is hogging the dog bed!!!

At an art supply store. Online is probably cheaper.

I love my cards too! Can’t tell y’all how special I felt to get something other than bills in the mail! Made me smile every time I opened one.

Alley, I always used to send cards back and forth with my grandma. We didn't live very far away, I saw her regularly, but both of us loved getting cards in the mail. Any holiday or just because. I loved looking through cards and trying to find something she would like. She passed away shortly after my first was born, and I sure did miss getting my special surprises in the mail.

Its very cute. I didnt know you needed special paper ! Guess thats why they are all different. I guess I did end up decorating the house.
