I have 100 watt light bulb almost touching water and it is froze solid . I was trying to get the ice out with my fingers and ripped a part of my nail off. I hope it dont get infected. It didnt bleed but the red blood was there.

I’ve been having a heck of a time busting ice out of rubber pans. At this rate I’m going to have to pick up more pans! I’d love a 35 day lol

I lost another speckled sussex today, think it was my spare cockerel who has not been looking happy. Not sure because i was in a hurry to meet up with the lady about the bunnies. But nothing i can do about it either way. That makes 5 of 12 of that breed i lost since mid August. Did i tell you one of the pullets squatted yesterday? I was amazed.
I went out and hooked up the bunny water warmer i made last night for the lionhead doe. My fingers were not happy about it. Hope to build another one tonight.
