Hi grannyland, hope everyone is well & staying warm. I've spent the day outside. Our high temp today was 7° feels like -8° Personally I think it felt colder than that lol. Have been busy all week trying to keep up with all this snow we've been getting & to get roofs cleared. Tried to move snow off the edge of the house with the roof rake, but my shoulders & back were too sore from yesterday to do it. I knew I had sewer vents & the vent for the kitchen sink that were needing the snow removed off of them. I climbed up on the roof, thankfully we don't have a steep roof & couldn't believe how much snow was sitting up there from mainly Dec & Jan so far. I got 2 of the 3 vents cleared & the roof edges cleared on the back of the house. It was really building ice up there so am very glad that I could get the snow removed form it. I have 1 vent to clear tomorrow & hopefully get some more edges shovel back. I can only do small sections at a time because I have no where for the snow to go that doesn't need to be cleared. Here are some pictures I took of the snow I pushed off. There is one picture of the roof that shows the vent I had to clear. Notice how much snow still needs to be removed. That has to be a joint venture with hubby or I wouldnt be able to get the snow piles cleared below.
