Yeah I had to pick another up for Yertle before Christmas $6 each. They had black bulbs too. Oh btw he’s getting so big! He’s already doubled his size since I got him.Why ever not?
You can get smaller heat bulbs for reptiles too, if you don't want a big flood light. They are more expensive than the regular old bulbs of course, but regular incandescent bulbs were outlawed and have been phased out over the past several years.
Can also get a ceramic heat bulb that emits no light. Quite pricey, so look online. Chewy.com had some decent deals.
