Granny's gone and done it again

One of the serama littles I have , its a roo and so weird looking its cute. seems like the whole body is smooth feathered except the tail and it looks frizzled. I didnt know that was possible.

well the frizzle gene is a mutation to start with so why not.

And add that to a mutant chicken. :oops:

yep part of the reason most home butcher's throw the hocks, all the different muscles and silverskin and stuff is just a PITA to "clean" for sausage or "real" meat. It can clog the meat grinder and makes for tuff eating if it does get thru the grinder.

is that what thats stuff called? Looks like a fine layer of gristle ?
