One of the serama littles I have , its a roo and so weird looking its cute. seems like the whole body is smooth feathered except the tail and it looks frizzled. I didnt know that was possible.

well the frizzle gene is a mutation to start with so why not.

And add that to a mutant chicken.

yep part of the reason most home butcher's throw the hocks, all the different muscles and silverskin and stuff is just a PITA to "clean" for sausage or "real" meat. It can clog the meat grinder and makes for tuff eating if it does get thru the grinder.

probably tendons, or ligaments the silver skin is well skin that seperates, covers different muscles

yep requires long and slow cooking. These days most people prefer microwave meals or something fast and quick.
