will a fire help the hips ? Mine get 10xs worse when its humid

One thing I never learned about having a fire . I dont want to go to bed with it burning and cant time it to go out when Im ready for bed. Sometimes there would be hot coals and then the vent stayed open all night making it colder in here then if I never had a fire going.
