Granny's gone and done it again

Much more efficient. I loved the one we had in TN. Plus we had propane fireplaces for when it got really cold. This woodstove is smaller and doesn't hold as much wood.
Neither does mine, but a bigger one would be too hot since it's at one end of the house. We keep toying with the idea of putting a free standing one in, more centrally located. All new houses in this state cannot have wood burning fireplaces. I will never live in a new house!!!

Try a new state. That one has too many regs.

Well yeah, its not sealed in front so the wood smoke would pour into the house.
I had that happen the other night when I had a fire starter FAIL. Too much cold air in the stove pipe, and all the smoke came pouring out of the vents. cough cough!!
I even burned newspaper to clear our the cold air, but apparently not enough. It won.
