Granny's gone and done it again

Grrr! I was trying to charge my phone and the charger was not plugged in. How does that happen? It was plugged in earlier tonight!

I had that happen the other night when I had a fire starter FAIL. Too much cold air in the stove pipe, and all the smoke came pouring out of the vents. cough cough!!
I even burned newspaper to clear our the cold air, but apparently not enough. It won.

I wish I had a propane . So thats part o the reason I dont have fires. The other is the weight of the wood, stooping and poking it every 15 min to keep it going.

Nope, they were upstairs with me. They follow me all over the house. If i am upstairs, so are they. If i come downstairs, them too. Same with Charlie. The big dog is not allowed upstairs or she would too. Its like a parade!

It is much harder to keep a good fire going in an open fire place. Wood stove is easier.

But I dont have one of those ! LOL I went to a place that sold propane and installed. would of cost around $1500. to get started.
