Quarantine is up on the new silkies. Haven’t heard anything sneeze or seen any swollen faces etc since the week I got them. Was checking a few over to attempt to figure out gender. The smallest paint silkies has diarrhea, gurgles when I picked it up and had a green rubber band around its leg. I cut it off and there’s a indent. The chick that had the swollen face starts wheezing when I pick it up

Unfortunately Alley I would say to continue to quarantine them. Not certain what they have going on, but there's something there. Sorry

Finally got my hose pipe hydrant fixed today. I won't have to carry buckets of water anymore. It was either too cold, windy, or rainy for a week. I haven't had anymore chicks die.

Hi guys. What a day. Pain is really bad right now starting to ease but omg not enough. Did too much today I guess.
DD got all but one charge dropped against her . She received 2 yrs. probation. Left there and went to a drive thru for a burger then a flea market. Pain hit there. I said no way Im going shopping so we were heading home when radio said fri.-sat. we are getting a storm. So we tried Kroger's being a smaller store and didnt hit all the isles. Didnt matter. Damage is done.

Well, that's a relief! Although 2 yrs of probation isn't anything to sneeze at. Sorry about your pain. Is it in a particular place? I just got home myself... hip is aching and feet are complaining and I'm ready to fall asleep, but there is a parent meeting at the school tonight, so have to hang in until at least 7:30. Going to be talking about planning for college.
