Just made it home. I’m so tired! Didn’t sleep well last night. And my legs are achy, hope I’m not getting sick. Still need to do chicken chores

That’s what I’m afraid of. The last 2 times nearly killed me. Fever of 103-104 with ibuprofen and Tylenol rotation every 4-6hrs

If they cacth it quick enough they can give theriflu shot but I dont know if its any good or not. It helped us a few yrs back but all I read is how it dont work.

I'm the same, tired. yawn.
I have to worm my chickens. I was alerted by seeing pink-purple poos outside (just the part that is normally white). Very strange, so was examining more closely, and saw some tiny tape worm segments on one stool. Makes sense, as I was thinking they are eating a lot more than normal, so makes sense. First time for worming them. Still not sure what was turning the white portion of the stools pinky-purple. Just on some, though. No new food, nothing they haven't had before... except for the 4 new pullets from last summer... they have never had red cotoneaster berries, which are all over now.

oh no. Maybe the dr can get you some of the Tamiflu. /suck on zinc lozenges too. Supposed to limit the virus replication a bit, but best when symptoms are brand new. Probably can't hurt.

He had traveled back & forth to VA with us for 4 years. He & Bella were the only ones that were mine. The others belong to dds & one was a stray. She is a jack Russel terrier & has had 3 litters of pups in a year, H20. Only 3 have survived. I think Spike is their daddy. He was a pretty chiweenie. Some of them are vvvvery ugly. He would chase his tail & make us laugh so hard. I'm reallyyyyy gonna miss him.

You really are. It's going to be a big adjustment. Sounds like he was a really neat little dog. So sad.

Yes, it was like looking at your sunset. I have pictures. Maybe can get them on later. I have chores. Was just sitting down for a bit to let the advil work on my headache. (no sleep)
