Doing okay. Trying to clean up around here, but not really that motivated because it's never ending! Laundry just finished, so going to go take care of that.Hi Wishing! How are ya?
Look into bamboo. The clumping kind don't spread uncontrollably. They can make a lovely tall thick hedge that rustles in the breeze. Not sure. Sigh. I just need to put up a boring privet or something. :/
I’ll see what I can find.Doing okay. Trying to clean up around here, but not really that motivated because it's never ending! Laundry just finished, so going to go take care of that.

I'm in 9b according to the map, but more like 10a in reality. It was Prostar looking to plant. She's probably somewhere around 9b... don't know how far inland she is though, might be colder. We were discussing making the neighbors disappear on my garden thread . I was thinking maybe a big man eating plant like little shop of horrors!
What zone are you in Wishing , for planting?
Yes, it can be a real problem. Clumping types are less invasive. My sis has been looking into it. She wants something that will grow taller next to a solid privacy fence to block the view into her backyard from up high. Neighbor on that side is a 2 story 4-plex.I’ll see what I can find.thanks!
I had avoided bamboo cause I did hear they were super invasive.
Yes it does, and the hummingbirds love it. Sis already has some of that growing along her back fence. Much better than ivy!honeysuckle invasive too and smells good
