Granny's gone and done it again

We are going to have a cold spell tonight. low 30s.
The light in my bantam coop went out last week, but we stayed in upper 40s and 50s at night so they were fine. I got up early and went out and fixed it. I think my extension cords got pulled and broke the circuit. I had to check all the connections and put plastic bags back over the connections to keep the rain out. I will sleep better knowing they won't be too cold. Don't know how you all do it... you must have thick blood!

I still have trouble remembering my age. It's 50 something... I have to figure it by thinking I was born in an even year, and it's an even year now, so my age is even... must be 32!! oh wait...


The inside person is more important. My outside person is the one that does all the complaining!

Yeah, I suppose having something other than sandals or flip flops on all the time would help me in the snow. And a heavy jacket... and long johns... and hot tub!
