Yeah.. We have the barn swallow sanctuary here.. We had 3 nest that produced chicks all summer long. Now i just need to get use to the preditors... Coyotes, bears and minx.. Among the common other ones.. And a billion Eagles and hawks

Mollie let me know she’s selling her ducks. The drake is a Cayuga and the hens are Swedish/Cayuga mixes. I’m getting the drake and three hens on Tuesday.

I was going to get ducklings when it warmed up and strongly considering the Cayuga because I found a breeder nearby. So this is perfect! No brooder for me.

Yay!!!!!! I wanna duck!!! Lol i have a huge metal barn stall thingy that is empty. Think of the possibilities

sounds like a little slice of heaven .. I got to see my first bald eagle and I am tickled to death over it. I dont think anyone I told was impressed like I was. hahaa

Exhausting. Yep, grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch. Spaghetti for supper. Had cookie dough left over, about as big as my fist. Slowly but surely ate all of it, so now I’m sick.

Muscovies! I love them. they’re excellent for a small farm.
