Ok I’ll try not to sound racist. I’m not racist, I make fun of everyone equally

So I live in a small white community stuck in the old ways. Farmers and a bunch of bible folk. It has been drilled into my head since I was little that I would marry a white man. I should not bring anyone else home because things would end badly. I’m not telling what all was said.
Now I’m not saying that I don’t think people should mix. You love who you love.
BUT on Christmas my uncle walks in with a cute little not white woman. I thought she was one of my cousins friends and a foreign exchange student.... my cousin has been known to bring friends to family gatherings. It was my uncles new girlfriend.

So basically he broke one of his own rules. This wedding, I’m sure is going to be memorable for multiple reasons. I’ll let y’all know how it goes.

Not that uncle lol I have 3. Linda’s DH twin is the oldest. Shocker is the youngest.

My grandfolks had the shock of their lives when my dad flew my mom tgere from Thailand and said we are married!! Lol. There are different cultural differences dependant of where your family is from but my grandfolks sure learned fast. Us kids were known as the brown girls in iowa. Lol i never took it badly.. It was just different from what they knew.
