Granny's gone and done it again

My dad had a 65? GTO that had been modified with triple cams (or something???). Anyway, it was faster than safe. Mom took it to go grocery shopping one time, and she missed a shift and ground the gears. I asked her if that was bad, and she said yes, don't tell your father! I was 5. :)

Yea Gto would have given my Chevelle a tough race. I always wanted one except they had an overheating problem. Seems like they were always right on the edge of overheating

He brought that car out here when we moved to CA. He was a pilot, and it got stolen from the airport on one of his trips. I was bummed because I always liked that car... was the first time I heard my mom swear when she ground the gears! Dad didn't care too much, said it was all rusted out from winters in New Jersey!

Well if it was rusted out I guess it wasn't a great loss. Just aggravating.
Well I'm gonna call it a night, Wishing. Good night to you and anyone else on here.
