Granny's gone and done it again

:(
Whatever is going to happen, sounds like she will be there for a few days. Is idiotman SIL going to be able to care for the littles?
I am comforted in knowing they can take care of themselves as far as food and such .

I hate ice storms not only for the danger of falling or having to drive in them but for the damage they do to your trees and downed power lines.
Exactly. At least we have wood heat. But if the power goes out, the animals will have frozen water. Haven't let the guineas out or opened the pop doors. No point to that. Glad they are all well fed and watered from yesterday.

Do u have jugs or buckets u can fill in case power goes off. I have to deal with no water cause we have a well.
Good idea. Of course, we have the river as back up. And many cases of drinking water. But it wouldn't hurt to fill some jugs for the critters. Thanks.
