Exactly. At least we have wood heat. But if the power goes out, the animals will have frozen water. Haven't let the guineas out or opened the pop doors. No point to that. Glad they are all well fed and watered from yesterday.

Just finished 2nd helping today of beef stew. Critters fed. 4 eggs-
3 too muddy-poopy to wash. Bar rock hen dead in goat pen. I think charger accidently jumped on her.

How do you peel those fresh eggs.

I was using grocery store eggs we had before the pullets started laying. Someone was talking about vinegar in the water helping. I always boil for 10 minutes and then put in cold water.

How did the flex do last week?

Thirsty, as I feared it would be. To be fair hubs stomping on it probably didn’t help matters...but still. Getting used to it but now it’s given me purpose and direction for my project Volvo. Give me something that’s fun to handle in the twisties cause the flex...not as good as a car.
