Looks like I've missed everyone tonight. Brother called earlier and we had a marathon talk... hours it was. Hubs is in his way home from the airport after auntie's funeral. He should be here before midnight.
Was a slow and quiet day at home. Pulled a few weeds, watched a cheesy Hallmark Valentines movie, this and that. I didn't even go into town to return my library book and now it's overdue. Another 25 cents down the drain. Ho hum. Maybe something exciting will happen tomorrow.

They are getting in through the pop door into the run. I had thought about a doggie door, but not sure the chickens could learn how to use it. Several of them are kind of dingy. I think a couple of those dingy girls are fighting back though... there was another big ruckus out there today, but no eggs were damaged. There were some crows in the yard, so possibly they chased off the jays. Either way, 6 eggs today.
haha She's got a lot of chickens! Based on her name, she lives way over on the other side of town- Piner area.
