This time of year is difficult with the cold temps, you have to check for eggs often and even then they might have gotten too cold already, but maybe another hen sat on that same nest to lay & warmed it that way. I usually figured about a 3rd of all I gathered would be fertile this time of year.

I got pretty bummed today. Passing the cemetery and he said, Mom would of been 87 next month. I said no she was 4 yrs older then you . and your 80 . He couldnt do the math.
