So i had a funny thing happen today. The SS were in the big chicken yard free ranging. I went up to close the coop up and the door was shut. All 4 hens in there! Put themselves to bed i guess!

your DH didnt do it ? Or maybe you forgot ?

Is it nasty butt or just a over zealous rooster. My BCM thinks he has to nail his victims like 5 or 6 times with each mating. Poor girls are being smashed in the mud & their bottoms are messy.

That silly roo is on the run from the bantam polish roo I put in there. He needs to go.

I have standing water in my big coop. Very nasty. I sure hope they dont get sick from it. Been thinking about closing it off til I can get something done but its their nest boxes and temps will be 30s at night.

I sure wish Robert would let you use his shed as a replacement of your big coop.

well the welping box is ready, Lu still just slinks around it. But Beth is curious NOT willing to actually go in yet .

FINALLY got the check from the former renter of the farm up home. Dated 9-14-2017 made out to the partnership from the grain elevator

No he never does it. I think the wind blew it shut because the door wasn't locked shut like i do it. I think my mind is eroding though between lack of B12 injections and sleep apnea. Got a Drs appointment March 1st@ 3:00.
