That's horrible Pam, he definitely scammed you. I dislike people like that, gives good breeders a bad wrap when you have shady people scamming people in the name of being a breeder.

No idea. This is her full-time job and I’ve been getting chicks from her for years. This is the first time I remember having a problem. Maybe they’re pullet eggs? Or old hens? Who knows.

or she bought infected stock somewhere and now it’s spread I hope you end up with survivors. Did any of the silkies make it? Or the lavs?

bad breeder stock will do it. Remember all my chicks would die at lock down and I thought it was the bator so Lisa brought me hers. All mine still died and hers hatched for me. Thats why I have been giving them vitamins and all this other stuff but it wont do any good if that little roo is mating them.

Do you have a picture of the pkg, would love to find it here. I use the rooster booster for chicks, times of stress on the birds & before I want to be collecting eggs to hatch.

No silkies, but I still have two cochins. They’re still half crippled. The lavender amerecauna was one I lost today.

the more I read of all the issues and problems with incubating your own the more I am happy ordering chicks from Cackle Hatchery.
