Granny's gone and done it again

Started my seeds for the plants that will be planted in my green house. We plant a large variety of peppers & a handful of tomato plants in there. We have a hard time with our growing season to get nice peppers & it's nice to get tomatoes thru October.

The lady in the check out line in front of me at Walmart had a whole bunch of coupons and if she needed to buy 2 of something to get her savings, she didn't have it. They kept talking back and forth. Anyway, she finally left. I had picked up a big bottle of ranch dressing that was supposed to be $1.98 according to the sign on the end aisle . They wanted $4 for it. So she had to go check. She wanted to argue so i said never mind forget it. Pretty bad when you need to take pictures to prove how much something is supposed to be!
Oh and then the coupon lady came back and argued some more while my order was being rung in!

I take pics of prices now with the item on the shelf lol If they have a promotion or clearance otherwise they’ll say no it’s not

I found a pair of tan jeans for $9 and a tshirt for $5 that says awesome sauce on it. And i got another $10 chick days shirt. No chicks left there, but they had the heat lamps burning any way! The cashier said they don't get advance warning so they have to keep the bins warm. What? So burn 6x 250 watt bulbs for nothing for who knows how long?

That’s wasteful. I’d unplug em if I worked there. It’d also be the cleanest bins around.

Oh, and i got some actual good deals at TSC! Half price on a garbage can with no top, which i don't use anyway, so like $7 for a garbage can. I used the last of the oyster shell in a small bag i had bought. So i wanted a big bag. They looked around, last one had tape on it so i got it for less than what a teeny bag cost, like $4.50. And i had a 10% off coupon!

I did, thank you. Not sure if i need some or not. Seems like a great price and nice variety. Not sure when my bator will get here, and i plan to hatch guinea eggs. I am up to 11 of those at this point.

Where do you get your TSC coupons from? Good score on the oyster shell. How do you keep rodents out of you steel trash cans without a lid?
