One of my Polish roos spent the night outside. Its a wonder the owls didn't eat him. I really need to do head counts at night.

My fingers are crossed for little Mae but sometimes things happen. I’m sure twist is giving her the best care.

Granny - another option is set yourself up a word document for what you do with your chickens - noticing symptoms, treatments etc that way you can do a quick ctrl+f to search and see dates, what you did, etc. May make things easier to find than flipping through a notebook (though that’s also a good idea)

Another idea - for things that need follow ups, set reminders in your phone. Life distracts the best of us. (That reminds me I’m overdue on peach’s flea treatments...oops)

I wonder if I can find a local that wants a house chicken? Cap, I wish you had her. I really like her and dont want to see her alone.

You may find she will come inside more and join the group if that rooster isn't there.
Wish I could take her. My favorite chicken from childhood was a barred polish cross. Merry Chicken was a hoot! The only one we ever named.

I did move the roo to the LF coop. she is w/ the bantams. She is a bantam. she is a white topped black. Theres no need to move her over with him because he is going under the knife.
